What You’ll Do
As a Lead Interior Designer, you will work independently and collaborate with our team to develop and execute residential projects including remodeling, new construction, kitchen and bath design, and whole‑home furnishings. You’ll guide projects from preliminary design through construction documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop holistic, multi‑layered designs that reflect each client’s lifestyle, aesthetic, and project goals
- Communicate and document design concepts visually and verbally using Silver Leaf’s established processes and standards
- Collaborate seamlessly with architects, engineers, trades, and consultants to ensure design intent is carried through every phase
- Partner with our drafter to produce accurate space plans, lighting layouts, elevations, and furniture arrangements
- Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project milestones and maintain momentum across multiple active projects
- Deliver an elevated client experience through professionalism, creativity, and thoughtful problem‑solving
- Approach challenges with diligence and attention to detail, ensuring solutions are both functional and design‑forward
Qualifications
- Degree in Interior Design
- Minimum 5 years of residential design experience in a high producing role
- Proficiency in drafting and space planning
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bonus Skills
- Experience with Chief Architect
- Kitchen and bath design expertise
- Remodeling field experience
- Background in furniture selections and procurement
