HR Central Analyst
Location: Remote
Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $24–$26/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Overview:System One is seeking an HR Central Analyst to support a high-volume, fast-paced HR shared services environment. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities while delivering a strong employee experience. This individual will serve as a first point of contact for HR-related inquiries and play a key role in supporting HR programs, systems, and processes across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Provide first-level HR support by responding to employee inquiries related to HR policies, payroll, benefits, and procedures
- Support HR programs such as onboarding, offboarding, unemployment claims, and other shared services functions
- Deliver a high-quality employee experience through timely, accurate, and professional communication
- Manage and resolve inquiries through multiple channels (Salesforce, phone, email, chat)
- Conduct virtual new hire orientations
- Document all interactions within the case management system
- Escalate complex issues appropriately to HR leadership
- Generate ad hoc HR reports and support data analysis efforts
- Ensure compliance with service level objectives (SLOs) and internal processes
- Maintain and contribute to knowledge management tools and documentation
- Promote and train employees on HR self-service tools
- Provide cross-functional support to HR team members as needed
Skills & Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of experience in HR, HR shared services, or a related function
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including handling sensitive/confidential information
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and identify trends
- Experience improving HR processes and workflows
- Ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization
- Familiarity with HR systems and case management tools (Salesforce experience preferred)
- Knowledge of HR principles, policies, and procedures (California experience is a plus, not required)
