Role purpose
Support the Product Manager by owning the day-to-day product operations, documentation management, and cross‑functional coordination required to launch and sustain products. This role helps ensure part creation details, vendor and quality documentation, samples, and launch assets are accurate, organized, and on schedule to support timely product development and successful launches
Key Duties And Responsibilities
- Part creation and data management: gather and organize specifications, part set up information, , packaging/case pack details, and inputs needed for SAP part setup; maintain part creation records and change logs.
- Documentation control: maintain product and vendor documentation files (specs, labels, IFUs, certifications, qualification documents) and ensure correct versioning and approvals are recorded.
- Project and Product Lauch tracking and reporting: maintain Monday.com (or equivalent) updates, meeting notes, action logs, and weekly status summaries for assigned projects.
- Marketing coordination: coordinate labels, photos, website updates, sell sheets, and other marketing assets; route items for internal review/approval with Quality and Marketing.
- Sample and prototype coordination: request, receive, label, organize, and ship samples; coordinate testing logistics and track sample feedback and results.
- Quality and complaint support: support intake, documentation, sample retrieval, and cross-functional follow-up for product complaints and product issues; help assemble investigation packets as needed.
- Support coordination of regulatory, quality, and labeling requirements for product launches including documentation preparation and cross-functional review.
- Pricing and Product reporting support: compile sales reports, competitive product comparisons and technical information, and pricing worksheets; prepare recommendations and summaries for Product Manager review.
- Supplier onboarding support: collect supplier qualification documentation, organize agreements for review, track redlines/approvals/signatures, and maintain vendor file completeness with Quality.
- Launch readiness support: maintain launch checklists (documentation, labeling, samples, marketing assets) and verify completion before launch milestones.
- Support market and competitive analysis, pricing analysis, and forecasting activities under direction of the Product Manager.
- Assist the Product Manager in managing products throughout the full lifecycle including development, launch, commercialization, and post-launch performance tracking.
Qualifications And Experience
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Creative thinking and the ability to work well both in a team and on one’s own
- Comfortable with all phases of the product lifecycle including idea generation, concept development and testing, design, and product launch
- Willing to go the extra mile with a strong work ethic; self-directed and resourceful with the ability to deal with conflict and drive to solution
- Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams including quality, operations, marketing, and sales.
- Ability to handle ambiguity effectively and oversee multiple projects at once
- Knowledge of product strategy and business management preferred
- Experience in analyzing tradeoffs between product features, customer needs/requirements and cost
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, set actionable goals and drive metrics and execution
- Experience involved in product development life cycle and launch of products
- Medical experience preferred
- Attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously; must work well under pressure, be flexible, and meet deadlines
- Energetic and balanced person with a drive for results, who feels accountable, has a great attitude, and is a team-player; self-starter with high degree of initiative, urgency, and follow through
- Desired project tools experience includes SAP, Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Project
- BS or equivalent with product management, onboarding, and lifecycle work experience preferred
