Minimum/Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from reputable institution
Other Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Experience in sales or business development
- STEM or financial markets and investments background
- SIE FINRA Series 7 & 63 (or willingness to obtain within 90 days of hire)
Responsibilities:
We expect meaningful capital raising traction within the first year. This is a results-based role, not a passive one.
Capital Raising & Investor Development (60%)
- Proactively identify, connect with, and cultivate relationships with investors across diverse networks.
- Build and manage a book of investor contacts, driving allocations and closing capital commitments for portfolio company offerings
- Strategically plan for future capital needs of portfolio companies, incorporating competitive landscape analysis
Market Analysis and Diligence (20%)
- Assist in deal evaluation and portfolio company management, including market intelligence and trend analysis, as well as KOL and management team engagement.
Operational and Strategic Support (20%)
- Assist in structuring deals and all associated work including term sheets and marketing materials in coordination with the legal team.
