Title: Finance Manager
Location: Warsaw, IN (This is an in-office position and is not eligible for remote work)

Reports to: Director of Finance
Job Purpose: The Finance Manager serves as the operational and analytical backbone of the Finance Department while supervising AR and AP staff, providing coaching, development, and accountability. This role bridges traditional accounting controls with modern, data‑driven financial management. This role ensures financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and actionable insight to support informed business decisions. Budgeting, forecasting, and month‑end close are core responsibilities. In addition, this position plays a key role in advancing process automation, ERP reporting, and performance analytics, working closely with IT and Procurement to improve efficiency, visibility, and scalability.
This is a high‑impact leadership role, ideal for a results‑oriented finance professional seeking growth into senior leadership. The position operates under the mentorship of the Director of Finance and offers meaningful exposure to strategic initiatives, cross‑functional collaboration, and continuous improvement efforts across the organization. This role also serves as the primary backup to the Director of Finance, offering significant exposure to executive decision-making and carrying meaningful responsibility in leadership, financial oversight, and strategic execution.
Position Responsibilities:
Financial Operations & Controls
- Oversee the daily operations of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general ledger functions
- Manage month-end and year-end close processes; ensure accurate and timely financial statements
- Maintain internal controls, reconciliations, and compliance with GAAP
- Partner with external auditors and banking institutions during annual reviews
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and credit exposure in coordination with the Director of Finance
Budgeting, Forecasting & Reporting
- Prepare and analyze budgets, forecasts, and variance reports
- Translate financial data into actionable insights for department leaders
- Develop standard monthly reporting packages and executive dashboards
- Collaborate with Operations, Procurement, and IT to integrate spend analytics into financial forecasts
Systems & Process Improvement
- Act as Finance lead for ERP system optimization and process automation projects
- Collaborate with IT to streamline workflows between Finance, Procurement, and Operations
- Implement best practices to reduce manual work and improve data visibility
Leadership & Team Development
- Supervise AR and AP staff; provide coaching, development, and accountability
- Promote cross-training and knowledge sharing to reduce key-person risk
- Foster a culture of accuracy, integrity, and continuous improvement
Strategic Support
- Support strategic planning and annual budget cycles
- Provide insight into profitability, pricing, and capital projects
- Assist in preparing materials for board and executive presentations
Special Project & Strategic Initiatives
1. Lead and support special projects as assigned by the Director of Finance
2. Analyze and execute initiatives related to cost optimization and pricing strategy
3. Participate in M&A due diligence, integration efforts, or capital investment analysis
4. Develop financial models and business cases to support new initiatives
5. Serve as a key contributor on high-impact projects that drive scalability & profitability
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience:
- 5+ years in accounting/finance roles, including supervisory experience
- Proven ability to manage AR/AP
- Proven ability to manage month-end close
- Experience integrating financial systems or implementing process improvements
- Manufacturing or distribution background strongly preferred

Pay: $60,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
