Manufacturing Process Engineer- Composites

GEOTEK manufactures engineered fiberglass composite structures used in power transmission and infrastructure worldwide. We've been doing it for over 30 years and we're still growing - adding capacity, new shifts, and new products.

We're looking for a process engineer to own the industrial engineering work on our pultrusion lines. That means time studies, work instruction development, setup optimization, throughput analysis, and layout work. You'll spend real time on the production floor, working directly with operators and supervisors, not just reviewing data from a desk.

What the work looks like:

Analyze and improve manufacturing processes: cycle times, setup sequences, operator flow, work instructions
Develop and maintain process documentation that the operations team actually relies on
Support tooling and fixture design using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Work across engineering, maintenance, and operations on process and equipment improvements

What we're looking for:

Degree in industrial, manufacturing, mechanical, or composite engineering
Lean manufacturing exposure- formal or through coursework
Solid Excel skills; comfort with data analysis is a plus
Someone who's easy to talk to and comfortable working with people at all levels
Self-motivated and organized- you'll manage your own projects

Composites experience is a bonus, not a requirement. We're open to early-career candidates with the right mindset and technical foundation.

Physical Work Conditions

Time should be split between the floor and the office or meeting rooms ranging anywhere from 25% to 75% on the production floor or engineering labs. While working on the floor there will be work with and around moving machinery, fumes and chemicals. Office work requires sitting at a desk, using a computer and phone.

The compensation range for this position is $74,386 - $102,280. Final offers may vary based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The posted range represents the expected earning potential for this position within the current organizational budget and market conditions
