Applied Digital is an electronics manufacturer located in the Branson area for over 30 years. We design and build products at our manufacturing facility that provide automated control to many industries. We are currently seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Software Design Engineer. Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for all phases of embedded software design including technical analysis of product requirements, recommendation of design alternatives and functional specifications.
Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of C programming or other embedded programming language
- ESP32 knowledge/experience a plus
- Web App design and support skills a plus
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to learn various programming languages as required
- Experience working with software design for embedded systems desired
- Provide on-going technical support to Production and design changes as needed
- Experience with handling several projects simultaneously in various stages of completion required
- Experience with troubleshooting and debugging including rework and repair electronic assemblies preferred
- Ability to work within a team development environment
Qualifications
- Experience in Electrical Engineering preferred
- Must have a fundamental understanding of digital and analog circuit design and theories
- Excellent verbal and technical writing skills
