Our client, a manufacturing organization, is seeking a Sr. Staff Accountant to join their team. As a Sr. Staff Accountant, you will be part of the Finance Department, supporting Division Finance and Technical Accounting teams. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Temp to Hire | 6-month duration
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including complex journal entries and accruals
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and analyze variances versus budget, forecast, and prior periods
- Manage fixed assets, depreciation, revenue recognition, and intercompany transactions
- Assist with internal and external financial reporting and support audit activities
- Maintain and improve accounting processes, internal controls, and documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (MBA or CPA preferred)
- 5–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; ERP experience required (Sage is a plus)
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and act as a self-starter
- Competitive hourly pay of $45.00
- Temp-to-hire opportunity with long-term potential
- Consistent schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
