Trailer Structural Design Engineer (Autodesk Inventor Required)
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on senior engineer to design and develop trailer structures. This role focuses on both modifying & enhancing existing designs, and leading new projects from concept through production.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and engineer trailer frames and structural components using Autodesk Inventor
- Modify and improve existing designs
- Lead new product development from concept to production launch
- Work directly with plant leadership and fabrication teams
- Develop pilot builds and finalize designs for full production implementation
- Assist or lead the development of engineering departmental structure and workflows
Requirements:
- 5+ years of practical engineering/design experience (8+ preferred)
- Strong structural/mechanical design capability
- Proficient in Autodesk Inventor (expert-level a strong plus)
- Self-starter with the ability to manage projects independently
Preferred (Not Required):
- Trailer or similar vehicle design experience
- Experience with production startup and plant implementation
- Engineering degree
- PE license
Details:
- Full-time, on-site
- Salary: $70,000 - $120,000+ annually, based on experience and skillset.
