- Participate in and lead software design, development, coding, testing, debugging, code reviews, deployments, and documentation as part of an Agile SDLC, while adhering to established team design and coding standards.
- Collaborate and coordinate with software engineers, clinical analysts, quality engineers, quality analysts, and other cross-functional team members to design, build, support, and enhance required applications and proprietary coding content.
- Develop high-quality software solutions, components, and medical coding pathways based on internal and external customer and business requirements, including creating and automating unit tests, measuring and improving performance, and ensuring the quality of deliverables.
- Document technical aspects of applications for technical users and end users, contribute to analysis activities, participate in code reviews, and help determine and recommend tools to support future technologies.
- Resolve escalated internal customer support issues, support ongoing application maintenance, and continuously grow skills through training and development opportunities with Solventum Health Information Systems.
Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution AND Two (2) years of experience with web programming and object-oriented programming, such as C#, Java, C, C++, Python.
OR
- High School Diploma/GED AND Six (6) years of experience with web programming and object-oriented programming, such as C#, Java, C, C++, Python.
Additional qualifications that will help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Master's degree in Computer Science
- Experience in UI/UX design and best practices
- Experience with AWS cloud development
- Experience with Web Services development (REST/SOAP)
- Experience with unit testing frameworks
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL/Oracle/Graph Database
- Ability to collaborate effectively with remote (off-site) team members
- Ability to communicate information clearly and accurately
