Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Process Design and Optimization: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and productivity. Design and implement process modifications for cost reduction and enhanced quality.
· Data Analysis: Analyze production data to identify areas for improvement and implement data-driven solutions. Utilize statistical methods to monitor and control processes.
· Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall process performance. Collaborate with production teams to implement best practices.
· Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality engineers to ensure that processes meet or exceed quality standards. Implement measures to prevent and address production defects.
· Cost Reduction: Identify opportunities for cost reduction in production processes without compromising quality. Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to optimize material costs.
· Equipment and Technology: Evaluate and recommend new equipment or technologies to improve manufacturing processes. Coordinate the installation and commissioning of new machinery.
· Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments on existing and proposed processes to identify potential issues. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
· Documentation: Prepare and maintain detailed documentation of process designs, modifications, and improvements. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Training: Provide training to production teams on new processes and modifications. Develop training materials to support process changes.
· Environmental, Health, and Safety: Ensure that processes comply with environmental, health, and safety regulations. Implement measures to enhance workplace safety.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering; master’s degree preferred OR
· Extensive experience in engineering with a focus on a specific discipline.
· Proven track record of successfully leading and managing engineering projects.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Leadership and mentoring abilities, with a collaborative approach to teamwork.
· In-depth knowledge of relevant engineering software and tools.
· Familiarity with industry regulations and standards.
· Mandarin and English Bilingual
· Project management skills, including budget and resource management.
