Relationship Development Manager / Sales Executive – Fire Life Safety

Position Overview
We are seeking a driven, entrepreneurial Relationship Development Manager (Sales Executive) to lead business development efforts across the Seattle and Portland markets.
This role is ideal for a true “hunter” who thrives on building relationships, generating new business, and delivering a white-glove client experience. You’ll be responsible for expanding market share, managing key relationships, and driving revenue growth across your territory.
Candidates must be based in either Seattle or Portland and willing to cover both markets.
Key Responsibilities
• Generate new business through outbound prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Conduct site walks and develop service proposals across fire life safety offerings (extinguishers, sprinklers, alarms, fire pumps, generators, etc.)
• Present and position FireCloud as a key differentiator to prospective clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with property managers, facilities leaders, and procurement teams
• Meet or exceed quarterly sales targets and activity KPIs
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, customer service, and finance to ensure seamless service delivery
Ideal Candidate Profile
• 3+ years of outside sales experience (fire life safety, building services, or B2B services preferred)
• Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales goals
• Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
• Self-starter with high accountability and a team-oriented mindset
• Experience within multifamily or fire protection industry is highly preferred
• Knowledge of fire codes, NFPA standards, or life safety regulations is a plus
