Flakeb00k is an evolving art practice working across painting, books, installations, merch, and experimental fabrication — blending street culture with physical craft and digital process.
We’re looking for an Artist Assistant to work on-site Fridays from 1–3PM inside the studio.
This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to be around the process.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Assisting with artwork production + framing
- Documenting projects (photo/video)
- Supporting studio installations + builds
- Light admin + marketing support
- Working with tools like:
- Laser engraving
- CNC milling
- Fabric / material-based design
- General studio upkeep (cleaning, organizing, resetting space)
Requirements
- Must be able to commute to Bushwick, Brooklyn
- Must have a genuine passion for art, making, and creative culture
- Interest in hands-on fabrication + experimental processes
- Respect for the Flakeb00k aesthetic and creative direction
- Reliable, on time, and ready to work
Compensation
- $20/hour
- 2 hours per week (Fridays 1–3PM)
- Potential for more hours / involvement if it’s a strong fit
