Job Summary
The Manufacturing Engineer Intern role will provide technical support for current manufacturing operations and processes. This role will rapidly deliver projects that promote efficiency, quality, safety, and cost reduction for the business.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Provide support, technical advice and troubleshooting for current manufacturing operations and processes.
- Innovate and implement safety, ergonomic, quality, efficiency, and cost reduction improvement.
- Identify and execute continuous improvement changes in coordination with Design Engineering and Operations.
- Develop manufacturing processes, standard operating procedures as well as tooling, assembly jigs, assembly manuals for current manufacturing and assembly.
- Work closely with Supply Chain on build schedules, optimum on-hand inventory to maximize and maintain flexible bin locations.
- Participate in kaizen/ideation events to develop and deliver process improvements.

This position will be located at SurePoint Ag Systems in Atwood, KS.
