Marketing & Communications Coordinator
The Role:
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator is a pivotal member of the Columbus REALTORS® communications team. We seek an individual passionate about storytelling and eager to explore new and exciting ways to communicate with our members across various channels. Providing exceptional customer service and timely messaging to our members is essential. Candidates should be able to create engaging content that drives member participation, attendance, and awareness. The Marketing & Communications Coordinator reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Research, write, and edit content for the Columbus REALTORS email correspondence.
- Update and maintain the association website, columbusrealtors.com
- Assist departments and groups with messaging to ensure that communication aligns with the Columbus REALTORS® brand.
- The ability to collaborate across departments and meet important deadlines is imperative.
- Author consistent topical submissions to the Columbus REALTORS® website and the Association’s bi-monthly magazine, InContract.
- Serve as a staff liaison to one or more Columbus REALTORS® committees, including the Columbus REALTORS® Young Professionals Network.
- Assist the Marketing & Communications Manager with Columbus REALTORS® social media campaigns across multiple platforms (Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, & Instagram)
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with other team members.
- Some small-scale event planning and meeting preparation are expected.
Qualifications
- 0-3 years of experience in marketing, communications, or
- A bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or public relations is preferred
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Organized and responsive to members and key stakeholders
- High attention to detail
- Past experience with content management systems and marketing CRMs is a plus.
- Eager to learn and stay informed on topics impacting real estate in central Ohio
- Ability to translate data into engaging content across digital and multimedia channels
- Some limited travel and attendance at Columbus REALTORS® events are required
- Ability to deliver information in new and innovative ways to increase engagement
Expectations:
As an employee of Columbus REALTORS® and the MLS, you will receive a competitive hourly range of $25.50-$26.50 with annual reviews. After the first 90 days, employees will be eligible for one remote workday per week. The benefits package includes group health, dental, and vision with only a 10% employee premium contribution. Also,100% of employer-paid premiums for group life insurance as well as short & long-term disability insurance. A flexible Spending Account (FSA) is available for all employees. Paid Time Off (PTO) is based on the length of service plus 10 paid holidays. Employees are eligible for the company's 401K plan immediately upon hire and are eligible for company contributions of up to 5% after one year of service. Regular working hours are Monday-Friday (8:30 a.m. – 5 p.m.).
