Job Title: Junior Validation Engineer (Automotive)
Job Summary:
Support the validation and testing of automotive systems and components to ensure they meet design requirements, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing validation plans for vehicle systems (e.g., electrical, infotainment, ADAS, powertrain)
- Perform functional, integration, and system-level testing
- Conduct tests on vehicles, test benches (HIL/SIL), and lab setups
- Record, analyze, and report test results and defects
- Work with cross-functional teams (design, software, manufacturing) to troubleshoot issues
- Support root cause analysis and validation of fixes
- Ensure compliance with automotive standards and test procedures
- Maintain proper documentation of test cases, reports, and validation results
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Basic knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle architecture
- Familiarity with testing tools and methodologies (HIL, CAN, diagnostics)
- Understanding of communication protocols like CAN, LIN, or Ethernet
- Exposure to tools like CANoe, CANalyzer, MATLAB, or Python is a plus
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
- Internship or project experience in automotive testing/validation
- Knowledge of standards like ISO 26262 (functional safety)
- Basic scripting/automation skills
