Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks
- Strong knowledge of mechanical assembly manufacturing processes, including equipment, materials, and quality control methods.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies

THE WORK
- Analyzing and optimizing CCA, module and/or cable manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality
- Identifying and implementing process improvements across multiple CCA/cable programs and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions, standard operating procedures, and design specifications for fixtures and stencils
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes
- Work closely with senior engineers to gain experience and learn manufacturing processes.
- Conducting experiments and trials to validate process improvements and ensure compatibility with existing equipment and systems
- Providing technical support and guidance to production staff, including training and mentoring as needed

Who You Are
Seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team, focusing on process improvements across for our CCA and cable assembly builds. Successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes, implementing improvements, and ensuring the highest level of efficiency, quality, and reliability. Experience with Nextgen radar programs is a plus.
What You Will Be Doing As a Manufacturing Engineer you will play a key role in driving process improvements and optimizing our manufacturing operations. You will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects, from process development and implementation to equipment maintenance and repair. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless implementation of process changes and provide technical support and guidance to production staff.

Desired Skills
- Ability to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stretch in order to perform equipment maintenance and repairs
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities
- Electronics or manufacturing assembly experience
- Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field
- Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IPC-A-610, J-STD-001 and MIL-STD-130
- Experience with automation, robotics and AI
