A leading global private markets investment firm is looking to add a Private Equity Analyst to its San Francisco team, with a focus on primaries and secondaries investing.
This is an excellent opportunity for junior candidates looking to break into private equity or transition from early investment banking experience.
Location: San Francisco, California (candidates must be currently based in California or willing to relocate immediately)
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the evaluation and execution of primary fund commitments and secondary transactions
- Perform financial modeling, valuation analysis, and due diligence
- Conduct market research across private equity managers and strategies
- Assist in preparing investment memos and presentations for internal committees
- Monitor portfolio performance and industry trends
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a top university (finance, economics, or related field preferred)
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Interest in private markets, particularly fund investing and secondaries
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
