Title: Business Analyst-Private Equity (PE) with AI
Location: NY (onsite-3/4 days)

Job Responsibilities
Work directly with employees across the organization to identify AI opportunities and define requirements for AI-enabled offerings
Translate PE business processes and workflows into AI solution requirements that development and data teams can execute on
Support the rollout and adoption of AI tools and platforms across business divisions (deal team, investor relations, fund operations, portfolio management)
Develop AI adoption playbooks, training materials, and enablement resources tailored to PE-specific workflows
Facilitate workshops, stakeholder meetings, and training sessions to drive AI literacy and adoption across the firm
Collaborate with data science, engineering, and product teams to implement and validate AI solutions
Define and document requirements for AI initiatives using JIRA (Epics, Stories, Tasks) with clear acceptance criteria
Analyze existing workflows to identify where AI can improve investment decision-making, operational efficiency, and stakeholder communication
Support UAT and validate AI solutions with business teams to ensure they meet real workflow needs
Stay current on AI trends, tools, and best practices relevant to PE and financial services (agents, agentic workflows, enterprise AI governance)
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or AI Strategy role in financial services, private equity, or alternative investments
Deep AI knowledge beyond basic prompting: understanding of AI agents, agentic workflows, enterprise AI platforms, and how AI integrates into business processes
Strong written and verbal communication skills: ability to explain AI concepts to non-technical PE professionals and create compelling presentations
Experience working with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define workflows, and translate needs into technical specifications
Proficiency with JIRA, requirements documentation, and agile/SDLC methodologies
Ability to work across multiple business divisions and initiatives simultaneously
Self-directed work style: identify gaps, resolve issues proactively, deliver complete work without constant oversight
US-based and authorized to work in the United States
Available to work onsite in Manhattan (up to 3-4+ days/week especially at start)
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience at a PE firm, hedge fund, or alternative investment manager
Experience with AI training, enablement, or change management (developing AI adoption playbooks, facilitating AI workshops, coaching non-technical teams)
Understanding of PE-specific workflows: deal flow, fund operations, capital calls, NAV calculations, investor reporting, portfolio monitoring
Experience with enterprise AI platforms (Palantir, Dataiku, C3.ai, H2O.ai, or similar)
Knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, and compliance considerations in financial services
Background in identifying and implementing AI use cases across an organization (not just a single team)
Experience working in a fast-paced environment where consultants are held to the same standard as full-time employees
