Job Description
As a Cash Analyst here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in the cash application process, ensuring accurate and timely processing of customer payments. You will analyze cash transactions, resolve discrepancies, and support the cash application team to maintain efficient financial operations.
You will work out of our New York, NY or Charlotte, NC location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the overall financial accuracy and cash flow management of the company by ensuring payments are correctly applied and discrepancies are promptly addressed, supporting the company’s financial health and operational efficiency.
This is an early career opportunity that will allow you to develop the skills needed for a successful treasury career. The successful candidate will rotate through various functions and have the opportunity to participate in strategic initiatives such as capital market and M&A transactions.
The position will report to one of the managers in the team and following an initial training period rotate on an as needed basis, ensuring exposure to all Treasury areas.
Treasury is located both in NY and Charlotte, NC.
The team operates on a 3 day in office hybrid schedule but new hires should be prepared to work 100% in office during the first 90 days.

- Credit facilities with banks
- Maintain bank relationships
- Ad-hoc financing transactions
- Financial Risk Management
- Manage interest rate, currency, commodity and credit risks
- Develop strategies to manage risks
- Reporting and Compliance
- Ensure treasury activities and transactions are accounted for and disclosed
- Provide senior management with insights on capital structure, market conditions, and funding strategies
- Comply with all applicable regulatory frameworks in US and abroad
- Corporate Transactions and M&A
- Participate in all strategic transactions
- Manage intercompany loan portfolio
- Support all internal reorganizations

YOU MUST HAVE
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- A first experience through meaningful internships or jobs in a corporate or financial services environment
- Strong interest in financial markets
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Have completed relevant and sufficiently advanced accounting, finance and quantitative coursework in your undergraduate degree
- Proficient in the use of standard office applications and a desire to learn new tools
