Outside Sales Representative for Pioneer Athletics®

Athletics Sales Representative.

Pioneer Athletics has your Field Sales position available;
a genuine career opportunity in a
great Athletic Sales Territory in the Kentucky market.
As an Athletic Territory Representative for Pioneer Athletics, you will:
- Work with Professional Sports Teams, College & High School Athletic Departments as a member of the #1 Resource for Professionals in the Sports Turf and Athletic Field Maintenance Industry.
- Work with Athletic Directors, Coaches, Trainers, Sports Stadium Managers, Groundskeepers & Sports Turf Managers, Parks & Recreation Directors, and Building & Grounds Maintenance Supervisors as they make important decisions regarding their Athletic Fields and Athletic Facilities.
- Work closely with our Sales Management Team in a professional, structured, and disciplined consultative sales training & product training program.
- Work closely with a mentor and a Professional Sales & Product Training Staff in a Stable, Personalized, and Structured Environment.
Position Requirements
- FIELD SALES EXPERIENCE, which must include new account development, account maintenance, and travel within a specific geographical territory, and experience in the sports turf industry or athletic sales.
This candidate will INHERIT OUR ALREADY PROFITABLE & PROTECTED ACCOUNTS.
In addition to an outstanding wage, this position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and life insurance, as well as a generous 401(k) Retirement Plan. This territory is eligible for quarterly and annual bonus dollars as well as additional county expansion in the future.
The base salary for this position is $85K. Most of our Sales Representatives earn significantly more after completing our 2-year sales training program.
To qualify for this position, you must have lived in the Kentucky market for at least one year.
Qualified candidates must have a satisfactory driving record.
Preferred Candidates
- willing to travel the state of KY every day to visit with customers;
- working knowledge of a CRM or a similar type of customer database recording system;
- have some experience in the sports turf or turf industry; and
- have at least one year of experience in outside sales.
