Position Summary:
We’re a growing, multi-location retail organization seeking a dedicated Graphic Designer to support our retail locations by developing visually compelling and brand-consistent creative assets across print, digital, and video platforms. As a key member of the Marketing team, this role is responsible for executing weekly advertising materials, in-store signage, social media content, and video assets. The ideal candidate combines strong design skills with marketing awareness and digital storytelling abilities to drive customer engagement and support business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and produce weekly circular ads, promotional flyers, and store-specific marketing materials
- Create in-store signage, point-of-sale displays, and merchandising visuals that enhance the customer experience
- Develop and manage creative content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.), including graphics, short-form videos, and animations
- Produce and edit video content for social media, digital campaigns, in-store screens, and promotional use
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to conceptualize and execute integrated campaigns across print, digital, and social channels
- Ensure brand consistency across all creative materials and platforms
- Prepare files for print production and coordinate with vendors as needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with photography, videography, and content creation as needed (including on-site shoots at store locations)
- Monitor social media trends and recommend creative strategies to increase engagement and brand visibility
- Support new store openings, events, and special promotions with customized multimedia assets
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Multimedia, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably in retail or marketing
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or similar)
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and content best practices
- Knowledge of layout, typography, color, branding, and visual storytelling
- Basic understanding of print production processes
- Ability to take direction, incorporate feedback, and work collaboratively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and shifting priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in grocery, retail, or multi-location environments
- Motion graphics and animation experience
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS or web design tools
- Photography and videography experience, including lighting and composition
