Position Summary
The Landscape Designer with Dream Greener Lawn & Landscape must possess superb communication and interpersonal skills as well as exceptional organizational skills. The Landscape Designer is responsible for developing and enhancing relationships with prospective clients and current clients by offering them compelling solutions for their landscape visions. You must also be able to multi-task and thrive within a high-pressure work environment and perform various professional, administrative, and technical work in the design, development, construction, and maintenance of custom residential and commercial landscape and outdoor living spaces as required. Required Work Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in related field is required – horticulture, landscape architect/management, sales. Will consider other relevant degree programs
- A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in landscape architecture/design role
- Experience in sales on a professional level for a landscape and lawn business in the residential and commercial maintenance industry
- Training and experience in horticultural best practices
- Widely versed and current in landscape design technology (modern architecture, new materials such as pavers, plant material, etc.)
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Proficient in AutoCAD - Demonstrated professional experience producing landscape design plants is required
- Demonstrated 3D design experience using Structure Studios (Vip3D/Pool Studio), Lumion, SketchUp, or equivalent. Must be able to produce client-ready 3D renderings
- Ability to meet with clients and determine unique and functional design solutions based on the client’s needs, desires, and budget
- Ability to collaborate with a team of designers and project managers on project details and deadlines
- Ability to communicate with the team and clients using graphics and renderings.
- Ability to own and lead the design schedule
- Ability to understand construction documentation and possess the ability to create production packages
- Ability to effectively communicate with client and team members throughout the design and installation process
- Permit-filing experience required. Must have hands-on experience preparing and submitting permit applications to local municipalities for landscape, hardscape, and related construction work, and familiarity with construction compliance requirements for each jurisdiction

Preferred Work Experience and Skills
- Five (5) years of experience in sales on a professional level for a landscape and lawn business in the residential and commercial maintenance industry is preferred
- A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a sales and performance-driven setting is preferred
- Licensed Landscape Architect
- Completely efficient in AutoCAD, Lumion Structure Studios, and/or Sketchup, or equivalents
- Previous experience with estimating software (Aspire, Service AutoPilot, Lumion, LMN, etc.)
- Extensive knowledge of plant material for numerous Zones, specifically 6 and 6B, as well as knowing what works the best and will flourish in our area
- Bilingual is preferred in Spanish/English
