Join Acom as a Brand Ambassador & Community Relations!
At Acom, we don’t just sell a solution, we build partnerships that protect businesses and communities. We’re looking for a Community Relations & Brand Ambassador to expand our referral network and represent our brand where it matters most.
This is a field-first role (70%) focused on relationship building, combined with content creation (30%) to bring those relationships to life online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Community Relationship Development: Build and maintain relationships with realtors, insurance agents, contractors, property managers, business leaders, and other community partners to expand referral opportunities.
- Networking & Event Engagement: Represent Acom at networking events, trade shows, chamber functions, and community events across our footprint.
- Generate Qualified Referrals: Develop trust-based partnerships through consistent follow-up, personalized engagement, and value-driven conversations that lead to warm introductions and qualified business opportunities for Acom’s Solutions Consultants.
- Brand Representation: Serve as a professional and knowledgeable ambassador for Acom by confidently communicating the value of our solutions both in-person and online.
- Social Media & Content Creation: Capture photos and videos in the field and create engaging content for social media platforms using Canva or similar tools.
- CRM & Activity Tracking: Maintain accurate records of meetings, referrals, outreach efforts, and partnership activity within CRM systems.
- Territory & Schedule Management: Independently manage schedules, follow-ups, and outreach efforts while balancing community involvement and business development priorities.
What You Bring to the Team:
- One year of experience in outside sales, business development, marketing, recruiting, community outreach, or a similar people-focused role
- Comfortable attending events and networking regularly
- Familiar with social media platforms and basic content creation tools
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Existing connections within the community are preferred
- Experience with photography, short-form video, or event coverage preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, and move throughout event venues and customer locations for extended periods of time
- Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends for community events and networking functions.
- Ability to communicate clearly in person, over the phone, and in group settings
- Ability to work in a dynamic and changing environment, both in-office and remotely.
