Role Description

We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-driven Product Development / Production Assistant to support the end-to-end lifecycle of our products—from concept through production. This role is critical in keeping teams aligned, timelines on track, and communication flowing across design, development, and vendor partners.

Product Development Support

Maintain and update WIP reports, ensuring all milestones and samples are accurately tracked
Monitor sample status across proto, fit, SMS, and PPS stages
Coordinate sample arrivals and support weekly fittings and design reviews
Communicate daily with vendors on sample ETAs, materials, and comments
Prepare and organize samples; capture and follow up on feedback
Keep BOMs, spec sheets, and tracking tools up to date
Support fabric and trim development, including lab dips and approvals

Production Coordination

Assist with purchase orders and vendor communication
Track key production calendar dates and flag risks proactively
Manage inbound samples (logging, tagging, distribution)
Track shipments and update systems to reflect real-time progress

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Share weekly WIP updates and highlight priorities or delays
Partner closely with Design, Tech, and Merch teams
Ensure clear, consistent communication across all stakeholders

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion, Business, or related field (preferred)
1–2 years of experience in product development or production (internships included)
Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills; familiarity with PLM and Illustrator is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
