As the LA Market Manager, you will operate as a high-impact individual contributor responsible for making RationAle a brand that distributors, buyers, and accounts prioritize. This is a field-facing role with no direct reports.
Core Responsibilities
Distributor Relationships and ExecutionBuild strong relationships with distributor teams and become a trusted partner in the market. Align on priorities, drive placements, and ensure execution is happening consistently.
Retail and On-Premise GrowthSecure new placements and expand presence in accounts that matter. Focus on driving real velocity and sustainable growth, not just adding distribution.
Sell-Through and PerformanceExecute programs that move cases and support distributor teams with clear direction. Use data to identify what is working, where gaps exist, and take action to improve performance.
Brand Presence in MarketShow up where it matters, including key accounts, events, and local communities. Represent the brand with credibility and consistency.
Ownership of Your MarketTake full ownership of market performance. Manage resources effectively, bring forward opportunities, and continuously improve execution across your territory.
What It Takes to SucceedAn entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and accountability. A bias for action and the ability to move quickly in a fast-paced environment. Strong relationship-building skills with distributors, retailers, and buyers. A scrappy and resourceful approach to problem solving. Comfort using data to guide decisions. Strong communication and follow-through with urgency.
Qualifications2 or more years of experience in beverage, alcohol or a CPG related industry. Experience working with distributor networks and retail & on premise accounts. Proven ability to drive sell-through, not just distribution. Experience operating as an individual contributor in a field-based role. Strong communication and relationship management skills.
RequirementsBased in Los Angeles, California. Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Willingness to travel locally within the market. Ability to work occasional nights and weekends. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
