OverviewThe Software Engineeris responsible fordesigning, developing, andmaintainingsoftware applications and reusable components for the Cotiviti product suite, following established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies. This role ensures compliance with coding standards, technical design specifications, and quality assurance processes. You will collaborate closely with senior developers, QA, product owners, project managers, and other stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performance solutions.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, andmaintainsoftware applications and reusable components for Cotivitis product suite, adhering to SDLC phases and coding standards.
- Build front-end web applications using ASP.NET, C#, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular, ensuring responsive and accessible design.
- Develop modern user interfaces andmaintainrobust back-endsystemsleveragingSQL Server and other relational databases.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues reported by internal and external customers, following structured analysis.
- Implement enhancements to improve performance, scalability, and availability.
- Communicate technical and operational issues clearly to engineering and business leadership.
- Ensure adherence to technology standards, code reviews, and quality assurance practices throughout thedevelopmentlifecycle.
- Contribute ideas to improve processes, systems, and overall efficiency.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and integrate them into Cotiviti products.
- Execute all phases of the SDLC, includingrequirementsanalysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance, with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Collaborate effectively with senior developers, offshore teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Scienceor related field with3-5years of .NET Core development experience.
- Alternatively,aMasters degree in Computer Scienceor arelated field with 2 years of relevant experience.
- Experience:
- 3 6years of industry experience in software development.
- 3+ years of hands-on developmentbuilding secure, high-performance applications withMicrosoft .NET, .NET Core, MVC, C#, TSQL, XML,JSON,HTML,Angular,TypeScript, CSS,andJavaScript.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of OOP principles, design patterns, and SDLC methodologies.
- Hands-on experience with GenAI/AI integration.
- Expertisein cloud technologies, preferably AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, SQS, Event Bridge, EC2).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines(Bitbucket, Bamboo, Octopus)and automated testing.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Familiarity with frameworks suchasASP.NETCore.

Base compensation ranges from $91,000 to $129,000 per year. Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, and other business needs.
