Designer 2
HOLT Architects, located in Ithaca, and Syracuse, NY is seeking a highly talented, motivated, and team-oriented Architectural Designer. The architectural designer will be a critical member of the practice's residential, healthcare, and higher education sectors.

Experience
Two to four years of professional experience.
Position Description
Intern on the path to licensure (or licensed architect) designs and produces work under supervision, performs non-routine architectural assignments, and coordinates design work with engineering disciplines.

· Begins to show leadership and accountability for project tasks.
Responsibilities
· Independently produce a set of architectural drawings for a small project (interior and envelope detailing). Technical adequacy of non-routine work is reviewed during progress and on completion. Routine work is reviewed on completion.
· Product research & selection of appropriate products for use on projects.
· Ability to integrate and coordinate architectural design requirements with other engineering disciplines. Consults with engineers regarding model accuracy, design, and drafting standards.
· Understanding of ADA regulations and appropriate implementation.
· Research and develop design and product solutions and present them for consideration.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
