Riser House Entertainment is an independent record label and music publishing company based in Nashville, TN, representing a dynamic roster of artists across the country and alternative music space. The label roster includes Mitchell Tenpenny, Meghan Patrick, Dillon Carmichael, Stephen Day, The Wldlfe, and Ash Ruder.
Riser House is built on a hands-on, artist-first approach — where marketing, creative, and publishing teams work closely together to develop music, shape campaigns, and bring releases to life. Through both its label and publishing arms, Riser House offers a unique, inside look at how songs move from idea to release and into culture.
We are seeking enthusiastic, motivated student interns to join our Nashville team. This is an opportunity to get a real behind-the-scenes look at a working independent label and publishing company, with exposure to how modern music is built, marketed, and monetized.
As a creative marketing intern for Summer 2026, you’ll experience a boutique, highly collaborative environment where no two days look the same. You’ll gain hands-on insight into music publishing and how it connects with the broader label ecosystem, working closely with both publishing and label teams to understand the full lifecycle of a song and artist career.
Responsibilities
- Help create and maintain campaign tracking reports across digital, social, and traditional marketing efforts
- Research music, social, and cultural trends to help keep artist campaigns innovative, competitive, and culturally relevant
- Assist in building artist marketing proposals, rollout ideas, and fan engagement strategies for upcoming releases and campaigns
- Capture, edit, and create photo/video content at artist shoots, events, concerts, and label activations for social and digital platforms
- Support day-to-day social media management for company and artist accounts, including content posting, release promotion, community engagement, and real-time updates
- Brainstorm creative content ideas and assist with executing digital marketing moments that connect with fans online
- Provide daily support to the marketing coordinator and digital lead across campaign planning, content creation, and artist marketing initiatives
Qualifications
- Passionate about music, digital culture, social media, and artist development
- Highly organized with strong time management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Strong understanding of social platforms, content trends, and fan engagement strategies
- Basic knowledge of the music industry, artist marketing, and/or music publishing
- Self-starter who is eager to learn, take initiative, and contribute creative ideas
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Familiar with Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and digital organization tools
- Experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, or other social platforms is a plus
- Available to work in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
