Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional customer service to enhance their shopping experience
- Assist customers in selecting apparel, footwear, and travel needs.
- Maintain organized and attractive product displays through effective merchandising and stocking techniques
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and retail math calculations
- Answer customer inquiries in multiple languages (multilingual skills are a plus), ensuring clear communication and understanding
- Support inventory management by stocking shelves, conducting stock checks, and organizing merchandise efficiently
- Provide advice and suggest items for their outdoor travel and adventures.
- Requirements:
- Passion for the outdoors, hiking, fishing, and adventure travel.
- Strong communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are highly valued
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Excellent organizational skills to manage stock levels and maintain tidy displays
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting merchandise and stocking shelves
- Basic proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of retail math principles for accurate transactions and inventory counts
