This role offers the opportunity to work on custom instrument panels and specialty automotive builds using SOLIDWORKS and CAD design tools while supporting innovative manufacturing and production processes.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Create detailed 3D models and production drawings using SOLIDWORKS
- Measure and evaluate customer-supplied components to support design development
- Design custom instrument panels and components for specialty automotive applications
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and internal teams from concept through production
- Support prototype development and refinement of custom designs
- Integrate modern electronic components into classic automotive-style designs
- Contribute to process improvements and design standardization initiatives
- Assist with occasional hands-on collaboration in a production or shop environment
What We’re Looking For
- Minimum of 1 year SOLIDWORKS experience required
- Strong CAD design and drafting fundamentals
- Ability to translate concepts and measurements into manufacturable designs
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work on custom projects
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Interest in automotive performance, hot rods, or custom builds is a plus
- Exposure to machining, fabrication, or manufacturing environments preferred

Physical Requirements
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable performing basic physical tasks within a shop or manufacturing environment as needed

Candidates should be comfortable balancing detailed computer-based design work with hands-on project support when necessary.
