Roger Christian and Company (RCCO) is searching for an experienced Jr. Digital Designer to join our team. We are looking for those who are thinkers and doers to become brand stewards for our roster of regional and national brands, who can contribute ideas, support campaign development, and produce digital work across social, web, email, paid media, and other digital channels.
At RCCO, a Jr. Digital Designer will work collaboratively with all departments – creative direction, design, production, and account service to deliver strategic campaigns and creative to the client. As the Jr. Digital Designer, you will report to the Senior Digital Art Director.
Responsibilities
- Work closely and collaboratively with creative directors, art directors, designers, digital, and account teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Perform general digital production and design work, including resizing, editing, and proofing assets, preparing files for development, and production of campaign assets.
- Maintain brand consistency across all projects.
- Produce work that demonstrates a strategic approach to all concepts and designs at all stages of a project.
- ·Concept and design across digital channels and take an active role in integrated campaign development across multiple client projects, including websites, emails, social media, paid advertising design, and more.
- Create innovative user experiences based on an understanding of customer needs and brand guidelines.
- Communicate original concepts through sketches, wireframes, visual comps, and interactive prototypes.
- Stay at the forefront of digital design trends within the marketing, digital, and advertising industry; present ideas and concepts for the application of digital innovation.
Qualifications
- Experience collaborating with account management and creative leads to ensure that all designs align with the brand image, while also meeting accessibility, usability, and website standards
- Proficiency in Adobe Cloud Suite, including InDesign, XD, Illustrator, and Photoshop, Figma
- Solid visual communication skills, including typography, layout, and graphic design, and the ability to explain design thinking
- Understanding of design systems, brand guidelines, and digital design best practices
- Curious, coachable, with the ability to respond to technical and creative feedback positively and constructively
- Excellent organizational, communication, collaborative, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to be responsive, think proactively, multitask, and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
