Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer/Designer with 2+ years of building design experience to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is comfortable working under tight deadlines and enjoys tackling challenging projects. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of designs and grow within a supportive, expanding firm.
Responsibilities
* Perform structural design and analysis for residential and commercial buildings
* Produce complete structural construction documents and details
* Design using steel, wood, and concrete
* Coordinate and communicate effectively with architects, builders, and owners
* Work efficiently under project deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Required Qualifications
* Degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Architecture or a related field
* Minimum 2 years of structural design experience in the building design industry
* Strong knowledge of building codes and design standards
* Experience with wood-framed construction
* Proficiency in AutoCAD
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
* Eligible to work in the United States
Preferred Qualifications
* EIT or FE certification
* Some experience with Revit
