Role Description
This is a hybrid role for a Software Engineer, based in San Francisco, CA, with the option for remote work. As a Software Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain fronend and backend applications, collaborate with cross-functional teams on feature development, and ensure system scalability and performance. You will be responsible for programming, implementing design principles, and contributing to the full software development life cycle.
What You’ll Do
- You’re a full-stack engineer who can move fast while maintaining high code quality.
- You’ve shipped real products using React/Vite and React Native/Expo, and NestJS on both the frontend and backend, and you’re comfortable working across the stack.
- Build distributed backend services and a performant, maintainable frontend.
- Design, deploy, and evolve our cloud infrastructure (AWS, Supabase, Terraform, CI/CD).
- Integrate and develop AI agents into the system workflows.
- Translate customer requirements into simple, scalable solutions.
- Build the foundation for observability, testability, and developer velocity.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in full-stack web development, including frontend, backend, and database integration.
- Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals and principles.
- Strong understanding of frontend authentication best practices including SSO
- Strong understanding of state management (Redux, React Context, or other)
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Vitest, Mocha, Storybook)
- Experience with modern frontend build tools and workflows
- Experience with responsive design in constrained environments
- Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable code
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with modern development frameworks and tools is a plus
- Familiarity with blockchain systems or fintech platforms is beneficial
