We are seeking a CAD/CAE Engineer to support the design and development of complex engineering drawings, models, and technical documentation for a leading engineering-driven organization. This role is ideal for someone with strong CAD/CAE expertise who enjoys working independently in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, modify, and maintain detailed 2D and 3D design drawings, schematics, and assembly models using CAD/CAE software
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and technicians to resolve design issues and ensure drawing accuracy
- Translate sketches, plans, and verbal/written instructions into precise technical drawings and models
- Maintain drafting standards, documentation procedures, and revision controls
- Support design validation and engineering change processes
- Evaluate and recommend CAD/CAE-related tools, hardware, and software improvements
- Ensure all drawings and specifications meet quality and engineering standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Drafting, Design Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2+ years of CAD/CAE engineering or drafting experience
- Strong proficiency with CAD/CAE software and engineering drawing standards
- Experience creating and managing detailed mechanical or product assembly drawings
- Ability to interpret engineering specifications and technical requirements
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Preferred Skills
- Experience supporting manufacturing, product development, or medical device environments
- Familiarity with drafting standards, revision control, and engineering documentation processes
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
