The Revit MEP Design Detailer participates in 3D modeling of plumbing and mechanical systems. The models will be used for BIM/VDC coordination and in-house prefabrication.
Essential Job Functions:
- Represent Krohmer Plumbing in a professional manner
- Communicate with general contractors, other trades, and engineers
- Produce 3D plumbing and mechanical drawings to code
- Participate in coordination meetings to resolve clashes
- Produce shop drawings, spool pieces, sheets, and models as required
- Prepare layout drawings as needed for field installation
- Other duties assigned
Required Skills:
- Solid working knowledge of Revit
- Basic knowledge of Navisworks and AutoCAD
- Competent, responsible, organized, and team-oriented
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work independently and with others to meet performance goals
