OVERVIEW
Glamhere is looking for a part-time Social Media Graphic Designer to support our marketing team in building engaging, on-brand visual content across TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms.
You’ll work closely with our Head of Marketing to create graphics that support our social content calendar, app growth campaigns, creator partnerships, educational content, and brand storytelling.
This role is heavily focused on graphic design, but video editing experience is a major plus. We’re looking for someone who understands internet culture, beauty trends, and what makes content perform online.
This is a fast-paced startup environment where creativity, adaptability, and execution matter.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creative Development & Content Design
- Design graphics for social media content across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms
- Create story graphics, carousel posts, launch announcements, promotional assets, and branded marketing materials
- Help bring campaign concepts and content ideas to life visually
- Maintain consistent branding, typography, colors, and visual identity across all content
- Design assets that align with current social media trends and platform-native styles
Video Editing & Content Support
- Assist with editing short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and paid social campaigns
- Add graphics, captions, transitions, and visual enhancements to video content when needed
- Support creative testing of different content styles, hooks, and formats
Collaboration & Marketing Support
- Work directly with the Head of Marketing to execute the weekly and monthly content calendar
- Collaborate with founders and the team on launches, campaigns, and growth initiatives
- Assist in brainstorming content ideas, visual concepts, social trends, and campaign direction
- Support creator campaigns and influencer-related assets when needed
Execution & Organization
- Deliver creative assets on tight timelines in a fast-moving startup environment
- Organize and manage design files and content assets efficiently
- Adapt quickly to feedback and evolving campaign needs
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand and quality standards
QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of social media design and internet culture
- Proficiency in Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, CapCut, or similar creative tools
- Strong eye for typography, layout, branding, and visual storytelling
- Ability to create graphics that feel modern, engaging, and platform-native
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently
- Comfortable working in a startup environment with fast pivots and evolving priorities
NICE TO HAVE
- Experience designing for beauty, fashion, lifestyle, creator, or consumer brands
- Experience editing short-form video content
- Previous startup experience
- Experience working in tech, apps, or consumer platforms
- Understanding of TikTok and Instagram content trends
- Familiarity with UGC-style content and creator marketing
DETAILS
- Part-time contract position
- Estimated 15-20 hours per week
- Compensation: $19-22 / hour based on experience
- Remote preferred, with potential in-person collaboration opportunities in Los Angeles or Orange County
- Reports directly to the Head of Marketing
