Our client, a leading organization in the industry, is seeking a PeopleSoft Business Analyst to join their team on a two-year contract. As a PeopleSoft Business Analyst, you will be part of the ERP domain support team, supporting PeopleSoft Financials modules including Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, which will align successfully within the organization. This role requires working onsite in Washington, DC, three days per week.
What's the Job?
- Manage and facilitate BPO processes for the Travel business area, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Collect, synthesize, and document current as-is processes, and collaborate with stakeholders to engineer to-be process models.
- Identify and document policy and process changes needed to operationalize new models, obtaining signoff from business stakeholders.
- Work with IT teams to identify and prioritize system changes, producing detailed use-cases and functional requirements.
- Participate in testing phases, including sanity testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), to ensure quality delivery.
What's Needed?
- At least 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a minimum of 3-5 years working within an ERP process environment.
- Prior experience managing BPO processes and working with corporate finance functions such as Accounts Payable, Expenses, Purchasing, Cash Management, and General Ledger.
- Proficiency in process modeling, including as-is and to-be process documentation, using tools like swim-lane diagrams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to elicit requirements and produce comprehensive BA artifacts.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as PeopleSoft or Oracle Fusion is a plus.
