Job Summary
Ace Industries is looking for an E-Commerce Systems Specialist to own our BigCommerce platform and serve as the primary technical resource for our marketing team. This is a hands-on role focused on keeping our ecommerce site accurate, our data clean, and our systems aligned — with room to grow into automation and more advanced systems work over time.
Essential Duties
Product, Pricing & Catalog
- Own the day-to-day management of the BigCommerce platform
- Maintain and update product, pricing, and catalog data — including bulk imports and data cleanup
- Manage product setup, organization, and catalog structure
- Ensure accuracy across product details, pricing, and availability
- Troubleshoot catalog issues and resolve discrepancies
NetSuite & Data Alignment
- Work closely with our NetSuite team to keep product, pricing, and inventory data in sync
- Identify and resolve discrepancies between BigCommerce and NetSuite
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards as needed
- Use Excel and basic SQL to investigate and clean data issues
- Support integration-related efforts as needed
Technical implementation & Marketing Support
- Serve as the go-to technical resource for the marketing team
- Implement site updates using HTML and CSS; configure and troubleshoot scripts as needed
- Manage third-party scripts, tracking tags, and apps (Google Tag Manager, etc.)
- Support landing pages, A/B tests, and campaign-related updates
- Manage and troubleshoot apps, integrations, and third-party tools
Process & Automation
- Take time to learn current workflows before recommending changes
- Identify manual processes and build more efficient alternatives
- Use automation tools (Zapier, Make, AI tools, etc.) to reduce repetitive work
- Help create more scalable ways to manage data and site updates as we grow

Qualifications & Experience
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, MIS, IT Management, Business Analytics, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in e-commerce, data, systems, or a similar technical/operational role
- Strong Excel skills -working with large datasets, organizing data, troubleshooting issues
- Solid understanding of how data flows between systems (ecommerce platform, ERP, and third-party tools)
- Comfortable with HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript for implementing and troubleshooting website updates
- Able to configure and troubleshoot third-party scripts and tracking tags
- Exposure to APIs or integration concepts
Nice to Have
- Experience using SQL to query and investigate data (joins, filtering, identifying discrepancies)
- Experience with BigCommerce or a similar e-commerce platform
- Familiarity with NetSuite or another ERP system
- Experience with Google Tag Manager, GA4, Google Search Console, or similar tools
- Experience with Google Merchant Center and product feed management
- Experience working with large product catalogs or structured datasets
- Exposure to automation tools (Zapier, Make, etc.) or AI tools for workflow improvement
- Familiarity with debugging tools (browser dev tools, console logs, network requests)
- Basic understanding of SEO technical implementation
Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as laptop computers and smartphones.
Position Type/Expected Hours
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and weekend work.
