About the Role
We are looking for a passionate and motivated Entry-Level Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are eager to build innovative software solutions and grow their technical skills in a collaborative environment.
As an Entry-Level Software Engineer, you will work closely with experienced developers, product managers, and designers to develop, test, and maintain scalable applications. You will gain hands-on experience with modern technologies, software development practices, and real-world projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following coding best practices
- Assist in designing, developing, testing, and deploying software applications
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and technical issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA engineers, and product teams
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes
- Test and maintain software applications for performance, scalability, and reliability
- Learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and development methodologies
- Document technical processes, features, and system updates
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong understanding of programming fundamentals and object-oriented concepts
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
- Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and basic software design principles
- Familiarity with Git/GitHub and version control practices
- Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Internship, academic project, or bootcamp experience in software development
- Familiarity with web development frameworks or cloud platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Experience with APIs, debugging tools, or testing frameworks is an advantage
