We’re working with one of the top independent advisory firms (very much in that Centerview / Evercore tier) that’s putting together a small, selective group of 2024–2025 grads who started their careers in more adjacent areas—consulting, accounting, S&T, ECM/DCM, research, corporate finance, etc. To restart thier careers in this unique flavor of strategic advisory.
THIS ROLE IS NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM 2026 GRADS
The idea is basically a structured “on-ramp” into M&A advisory for people who went into adjacent careers to M&A, but have the right kind of analytical background and want to reposition toward a long‑term advisory career.
What makes this stand out:
- It’s a true advisory platform—a lot more strategic / thinking-oriented vs. pure execution
- They’re being very intentional about who they hire, so it’s a small group, not a broad program
- You get exposure that’s much closer to senior bankers than what you’d typically expect early on
Also important (since everyone asks about it):
- They’re very aware of the “restart” dynamic and comp is structured to make the move attractive financially
- First-year pay is competitive with what you’d expect as a 2nd year in most bulge brackets.
There’s a lot more nuance to how they’re thinking about this, but high level it’s a pretty rare chance to reset into M&A the “right” way at a top platform.
