Position Overview
The Logistics Manager is responsible for coordinating and executing day-to-day logistics and fulfillment operations for Echelon USA. This role manages relationships with 3PL partners, monitors inventory levels across the fulfillment network, and ensures orders are shipped accurately and on time for both ecommerce and wholesale distribution channels. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, operationally focused, and comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
3PL Coordination & Fulfillment Operations
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for 3PL warehouse partners across the US, coordinating inbound shipments, outbound fulfillment, and issue resolution.
• Monitor 3PL performance against established SLAs and KPIs; identify issues and escalate or resolve as appropriate.
• Coordinate inventory transfers and replenishments between 3PL locations to maintain adequate stock levels for ecommerce and wholesale orders.
• Work with internal teams and 3PL contacts to troubleshoot fulfillment errors, shipping delays, and inventory discrepancies.
• Support the onboarding process for new 3PL partners or warehouse locations as directed by leadership.
Inventory Management
• Track and maintain accurate inventory records across all 3PL and warehouse locations.
• Coordinate regular cycle counts and inventory audits with 3PL partners; reconcile discrepancies and report findings.
• Monitor stock levels and flag replenishment needs to the appropriate internal teams.
• Help enforce best practices to reduce shrinkage, damage, and returns across the fulfillment network.
Ecommerce & Wholesale Fulfillment
• Ensure ecommerce orders are fulfilled accurately and within required ship windows, coordinating with 3PL teams to address volume spikes and exceptions.
• Support wholesale and retail distribution logistics, including coordinating with 3PLs on compliance with retailer routing guides and shipping requirements.
• Communicate order status, delays, and exceptions to internal stakeholders including sales, customer service, and operations teams.
• Help coordinate logistics for product launches, promotions, and seasonal peaks.
Shipping & Carrier Coordination
• Coordinate with parcel carriers, LTL/FTL brokers, and freight partners to arrange timely shipments for both D2C and wholesale orders.
• Track shipments and help resolve carrier issues, claims, and delivery exceptions.
• Ensure shipments comply with applicable shipping regulations and food & beverage handling requirements.
• Provide input on carrier performance and flag cost or service concerns to leadership.
Warehouse Operations Support
• Oversee or support daily warehouse operations where applicable, including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Help develop and maintain SOPs for fulfillment accuracy and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate labor scheduling and workflow with 3PL supervisors to meet fulfillment targets during peak periods.
• Manage recruitment and employment management of warehouse staff.
Safety & Compliance
• Ensure all logistics activities comply with OSHA guidelines, safety standards, and product handling regulations.
• Support staff training on safe equipment operation, lifting protocols, and relevant compliance requirements.
Qualifications
• 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or fulfillment operations, including exposure to 3PL management.
• Experience supporting both ecommerce (D2C) fulfillment and wholesale or retail distribution.
• Familiarity with inventory management processes, cycle counting, and basic replenishment principles.
• Working knowledge of WMS, ERP, or TMS systems; experience with platforms such as ShipHero, Shopify, or UPS/FedEx tools a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Clear communicator with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Forklift certification a plus.
• OHSA 30 certification is a plus.
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, and operate warehouse equipment for extended periods.
• Travel up to 20% required for 3PL site visits and partner management across the US.
