About Our JobAs the IT Manager of Analytics and Solution Architecture, you will manage a group of IT architects at DEN. The Data Analytics and Architecture Office drives a data-driven culture by improving the trust and quality of data assets, and digital transformation to support critical metrics and analytics. This team leads data governance and architecture across all DEN divisions and enables innovative solutions through advanced analytics, digital transformation and AI.
Specifically, as the IT Manager, you will:
Manage a team of IT architects and data professionals (4-8).
Lead the team to identify IT patterns, implement data governance, and promote a data-driven organization.
Work with platform SME, driving the evolution of the Enterprise Platforms for alignment with long-term road maps and technical standards.
Work with technical architects and platform SMEs to develop roadmaps to improve core business capabilities.
Oversee IT practices to enable business outcomes using ITSM, ITIL, BPMN.
Work with teams to deliver projects and efforts using Waterfall and Agile practices.
Perform other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
Our ideal candidate has some or all the following experience, skills, and characteristics:
Ability to manage technical professionals using industry standards and enterprise platforms.
Expertise in deploying modern architectural patterns—such as Data Mesh and Event-Driven Design—to modernize legacy environments and implement Federated Governance across SaaS platforms.
Proven ability to institutionalize enterprise-wide governance, utilizing Microsoft Purview for data assets while aligning IT service management via ServiceNow to drive consistent, compliant outcomes.
Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Business, or a related field.
Experience Requirement: Three (3) years of professional level information technology work at the type and level of a senior or full performance professional.
Education/Experience Equivalency: One (1) year of the appropriate type and level of experience may be substituted for each required year of post-high school education. Additional appropriate education may be substituted for the minimum experience requirements.
Additional Information
FBI Background Check: FBI criminal background check is required for all positions at Denver International Airport (DEN). Employees are also required to report any felony convictions and/or moving violations to maintain this clearance and be eligible for continued employment. By position, a pre-employment physical/drug test may be required.
Snow/Emergency Duties: Denver International Airport is a 24/7/365 team operation. If weather conditions warrant or an emergency crisis occurs, all DEN employees can be required to work extended hours and/or shifts.
