Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to support engineering projects across various domains, including water treatment. The ideal candidate will assist in project planning, design, and execution by utilizing advanced drafting and CAD software. Duties
- Assist in project scheduling, tracking milestones, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure timely project delivery.
- Support Sales and production activities, including quality assurance, and compliance monitoring.
- Prepare detailed schematics, drawings, and plans using AutoCAD, and CAD software.
- Perform project estimating to support budgeting and resource allocation.
- Support research & development initiatives related to innovative water treatment management solutions.
- Draft technical reports, documentation, and inspection reports with precision.
- Collaborate on schematic development for mechanical systems and water treatment processes.
- Gather data through field measurements and inspections to inform design modifications or project assessments.
Desired Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, CAD drafting, and schematic development.
- Experience with construction estimating, project scheduling, and construction inspection processes.
- Technical understanding of water treatment systems, processes, mechanical systems, and related infrastructure projects.
- Ability to perform data collection accurately in field environments.
- Excellent research & development skills with an aptitude for innovative problem-solving.
- Strong mathematical skills essential for precise drafting and analysis tasks.
- Effective technical writing abilities for preparing reports and documentation. This position is ideal for candidates eager to develop their expertise in civil engineering technology while contributing to meaningful infrastructure projects that impact communities positively.
Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
