Key Responsibilities
- Technical Drawing: Create comprehensive CAD drawings for associated equipment, ensuring high quality and technical accuracy.
- Drafting Documentation: Produce clear assembly, layout, and parts drawings. This includes defining accurate dimensions, tolerances, materials, and specific fastening details.
- Design Review: Collaborate with the engineering team to review initial sketches and technical specifications, ensuring the final output aligns with project goals.
- Technical Calculations: Apply mathematical and engineering principles to calculate part sizes, angles, and clearances.
- Quality Control: Ensure all drawings meet company standards and industry regulations before they are released to production.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's or Associate degree (A.A.) in Drafting/Design or a formal Drafting Certificate with a
- Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or specialized training in a technical drafting environment.
- Software Proficiency:
- AutoCAD or similar
- Experience with SolidWorks is ideal
