Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator
Location: Houston, TX 77073 (On-site)
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $24 to $30 per hour, based on experience
Beauty Elite Group is looking for a creative, hands-on Social Media Coordinator & Content Creator to help bring our brands to life through engaging content, social media campaigns, product launches, and live event coverage.
This role is ideal for someone who understands content strategy, short-form video, social media trends, audience engagement, and how to turn ideas into content that delivers results.
You will be responsible for planning, filming, editing, publishing, and optimizing content across multiple social media platforms while supporting marketing initiatives across several beauty and lifestyle brands.
What You'll DoContent Creation & Editing
- Create, film, edit, and publish content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms
- Produce Reels, TikToks, Shorts, educational content, product demonstrations, lifestyle content, promotional videos, and event coverage
- Create static posts, carousels, story graphics, and marketing assets using Canva
- Capture product photography, lifestyle footage, behind-the-scenes content, tutorials, demos, and trend-driven content
- Occasionally appear on camera for product features, demonstrations, interviews, and behind-the-scenes content
Content Planning & Brand Support
- Develop content concepts aligned with brand goals, campaigns, promotions, and product launches
- Plan and manage a consistent content calendar
- Monitor social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content opportunities
- Adapt and repurpose content across platforms and formats
- Write captions and optimize content for engagement and reach
- Maintain brand consistency across all channels
Campaign & Event Support
- Collaborate with marketing, creative, and brand teams on campaigns and initiatives
- Support content shoots through planning, preparation, filming, and asset organization
- Travel to trade shows, educational events, and marketing activations to capture live content
- Support influencer, creator, and user-generated content initiatives
- Review content performance and identify opportunities for improvement
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Journalism, Business, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in social media marketing, content creation, or digital marketing
- Proven experience creating content for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts
- Strong portfolio demonstrating content creation, editing, storytelling, and social media execution
- Proficiency with Canva and video editing tools such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of social media growth, engagement, analytics, and platform best practices
- Experience filming and editing content independently
- Excellent communication, writing, organization, and project management skills
- Comfortable being on camera when needed
- Ability to work on-site in Houston and travel for events as needed
Preferred Qualifications- Experience working with beauty, haircare, cosmetics, wellness, lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brands
- Experience supporting influencer marketing and creator partnerships
- Experience with Meta Business Suite, TikTok Analytics, Google Analytics, or similar reporting platforms
- Photography, lighting, and basic graphic design experience
- Experience using AI-assisted creative and marketing tools
