Junior Business Manager at business management firm / multi-family office
(hybrid: onsite 3 days a week)
This firm manages the comprehensive financial and administrative lives of a select clientele, generally in the arts & entertainment industries as well as former corporate executives. They are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Junior Business Manager to directly support one of the firm’s Partners. In this role, you will touch all aspects of clients' financial ecosystems—ranging from financial modeling and recurring cash flow reporting to day-to-day business management. Key Responsibilities
- Reporting & Portfolio Administration: Prepare, aggregate, and reconcile comprehensive monthly reporting packages, balance sheets, and cash flow summaries for clients.
- Client Service Excellence: Act as a proactive point of contact to assist in servicing day-to-day client inquiries, coordinating directly with external and internal stakeholders, private banking teams, legal counsel, trust & estate lawyers and specialized CPA firms.
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: 1–4+ years of professional experience in family offices, business management firms, consulting, or public accounting. Exposure to high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) or entertainment/corporate executive clientele is highly preferred.
- Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory. Familiarity with family office accounting platforms or specialized bill-pay software is a distinct advantage.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
