We are seeking a strategic and hands-on E-Commerce Marketing Manager to assist in the growth of our direct-to-consumer business. This role owns the performance of our Shopify storefront and customer marketing programs, with responsibility for developing and executing strategies that increase revenue, customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable setting strategy and rolling up their sleeves to execute. They will oversee the e-commerce roadmap, merchandising strategy, promotional calendar, customer journey, and email marketing program while working closely with our marketing team and agency partner to achieve business goals.
This position will serve as the primary owner of Shopify and Klaviyo, ensuring both platforms are optimized to deliver an exceptional customer experience and measurable business growth.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Strategy & Growth
- Help develop and execute the overall e-commerce growth strategy.
- Own revenue, conversion, customer retention, and customer lifetime value goals for the direct-to-consumer channel.
- Identify opportunities to improve customer acquisition, conversion rates, average order value, and repeat purchases.
- Lead promotional planning, product launch strategies, merchandising initiatives, and seasonal campaigns.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive activity, and emerging e-commerce best practices.
Shopify Store Ownership
- Manage site merchandising, product organization, collections, promotions, landing pages, and content updates.
- Optimize the customer journey from product discovery through checkout.
- Analyze website performance and recommend improvements based on customer behavior and business objectives.
Email Marketing & Customer Lifecycle (Klaviyo)
- Own the email marketing strategy and customer lifecycle program across acquisition, conversion, retention, and loyalty.
- Develop campaign strategies, segmentation plans, and automated customer journeys designed to drive revenue and engagement.
- Execute email campaigns and flows within Klaviyo, including promotional emails, product launches, welcome series, abandoned cart programs, post-purchase communications, and re-engagement campaigns.
- Collaborate closely with Director of Marketing on email strategy, testing plans, reporting, and optimization opportunities.
- Continuously refine customer segments, automations, and personalization efforts to improve performance.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Establish and report on key e-commerce and lifecycle marketing KPIs.
- Analyze Shopify and Klaviyo performance data to identify growth opportunities and inform decision-making.
- Lead testing initiatives across website merchandising, email campaigns, customer journeys, and promotional offers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in an e-commerce management role.
- Proven track record of driving online sales and improving key performance metrics.
- Proficiency in e-commerce platform Shopify Plus and analytics tools Google Analytics.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, SEO, PPC, and email marketing strategies.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
