About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Network Engineer who wants to own projects end-to-end—not just design, but delivery.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being in the field, working directly with clients, and seeing projects through from planning to go-live. You’ll support a mix of K-12, public sector, and healthcare environments across South Carolina.
What You’ll Do
- Lead end-to-end network deployments (design → install → support)
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot routing, switching, and wireless environments
- Work onsite to:
- Rack/stack equipment
- Replace hardware and perform upgrades
- Support infrastructure refreshes and migrations
- Partner with PMs and engineers to deliver projects on time
- Troubleshoot complex network and connectivity issues
- Document network designs, changes, and procedures
- Support after-hours work for maintenance windows as needed
Tech Environment
- Cisco, Meraki, Aruba, Ruckus
- Palo Alto (and similar firewall platforms)
- Core networking: TCP/IP, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, routing protocols
What We’re Looking For:
Core Requirements
- Experience implementing and supporting enterprise network infrastructure
- Strong foundation in routing, switching, wireless, and network security
- Hands-on experience with at least one major vendor (Cisco, Aruba, etc.)
- Comfortable working onsite with clients regularly across SC
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently
Preferred
- Experience in consulting / client-facing environments
- Certifications (CCNA, CCNP, Palo Alto, etc.)
What Makes Someone Successful Here
- Willing to be hands-on (this is not a “design-only” role)
- Takes ownership of projects from start to finish
- Team-first mindset—no “that’s not my job” mentality
- Adaptable in a fast-moving, client-driven environment
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Work Location: Remote
