Summary: AcousticaBio is hiring a Chief of Staff to work directly with the Leadership and the Founder/CEO to drive execution across the company and help shape how we operate as we scale.
This is a rare opportunity to join AcousticaBio at a pivotal moment, as we build a new paradigm in biologics formulation and drug delivery - enabling more accessible, scalable, and patient-friendly therapies.
We are a venture- and NIH-funded deep-tech startup spun out of Harvard, building a proprietary platform that leverages physics-first approaches to transform biologics manufacturing and delivery. Our technology enables ultra-high-concentration formulations for subcutaneous delivery, addressing fundamental challenges in viscosity, stability, and manufacturability.
This is not a traditional “support” role. The person in this position will serve as a force multiplier for the CEO and the team, operating at the intersection of execution, communication, and strategy. You will help ensure that priorities are translated into action, that key initiatives move forward with clarity and urgency, and that the organization remains aligned as we grow.
We are looking for a team-first operator with high ownership and exceptional communication skills -someone who enjoys bringing structure to complexity and is excited to play a central role in shaping the operations, trajectory, and culture of the company.
For the right candidate, this is an opportunity to step into a highly visible role with direct exposure to company-building, decision-making, and scaling a deep-tech biotech startup.
Responsibilities
Drive execution across company priorities
- Translate strategic priorities into clear plans, timelines, and owners across R&D, partnerships, fundraising, and operations
- Track progress against key milestones (e.g., grant deliverables, technical programs, external collaborations) and ensure consistent follow-through
Own program management and operating cadence
- Refine or establish weekly meetings, planning cycles, tracking tools
- Identify risks, bottlenecks, and misalignment early, and proactively drive resolution
Serve as a force multiplier for the Leadership and Founder/CEO
- Help prioritize, coordinate, and prepare key decisions, meetings, and external interactions
- Reduce operational overhead and ensure focus on the highest-impact initiatives
Enable clear internal and external communication
- Support preparation of materials for investors, partners, collaborators, and grant submissions
- Ensure clarity and alignment across the team by synthesizing complex discussions into actionable outcomes
Lead cross-functional projects and special initiatives
- Take ownership of high-priority initiatives that do not naturally fit within a single function
- Operate across scientific, operational, and business domains as needed
Operate with versatility in a fast-moving startup environment
- Step in wherever needed to move the company forward, from high-level planning to detailed execution
Desired Experience and Capabilities
- 3–6+ years of experience in a startup or fast-paced environment, in roles such as Program Management, Business Operations, Strategy & Operations, Consulting, or similar
- Demonstrated experience driving cross-functional projects and delivering results in fast-changing environments
- Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information and present clearly to diverse audiences
- Strong organizational and program management skills, with an ability to track multiple priorities simultaneously without losing focus
- High level of ownership and accountability; able to independently drive work forward without constant direction
- Comfort working closely with senior leadership and external stakeholders
- Experience in biotech, life sciences, or deep-tech startups is a plus, but not required
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an operator and leader in the making: someone who is highly organized but not bureaucratic, strategic but action-oriented, and confident communicating across all levels of the organization.
You are a team-first individual who thrives in personal connection as well as analytical thinking, and who can positively shape the culture of a resilient and passionate team.
You are energized by taking ideas and turning them into execution. You enjoy bringing clarity to complexity, connecting dots across teams, and ensuring that important work actually gets done.
You are proactive, resilient, and comfortable in environments where priorities evolve quickly. You are motivated not only by learning and growth, but by having real ownership and impact in a company at an early stage.

- Competitive equity package
- 401k with employer match
- Flexible schedule
- Unlimited PTO
- Premium coverage for medical and dental plans
